03/04/2011 ***Bubbles!*** John and Ashley are bringing the boys to visit us in a couple of weeks. So I'm working on entertainment ideas. I know Rowan loves bubbles. So I bought three big bubble wands, one for Rowan, one for Jimmy and one for Luke. I think we are ready. Bring on the grandchildren!

***Our Andrew is growing up so fast. If feels like just a few days ago when he was an eight year old little boy who wanted to hold my hand in the store. Now, he's a fifteen year old gentleman. How proud he has made us as we've watched him grow over the years.

***It's Ash Wednesday and so I am showing you.....plum blossoms. That's right :) No ashes for you today. Instead, you get food that isn't food yet. I wonder if it's my brain subliminally asking for food on this one of two fasting days in the year. Nah...that can't be it. I think it's just that my back yard is finally showing signs of life and that makes me very happy :)

***Hit & Run Photography***
It was a "full" day. Originally, I was supposed to go to the confirmation retreat for the whole day. That was making it impossible for me to go the th 40 Days for Life training or to my friend's wedding. But the other day, the confirmation team decided that sponsors didn't need to show up until 2PM. Then I found out that the 40 Days training was at the same church as Rita's wedding. I had just enough time between 40 Days and the retreat to slip in and take a couple of shots of Rita and her handsome groom before the wedding. I couldn't stay for the wedding. But I heard that it was beautiful. But then, could there be any doubt, looking at this couple? Congratulations, Rita and Jerry! May God shower His blessings and grace on your marriage all the days of your life.

***Down in Adoration Falling***
I'm sorry I missed yesterday's postings. It seems I have contracted a sinus infection. Ouch. It still hurts :(
I haven't picked up the camera in the past couple of days. But today, I was processing the pictures from the Mass we shot Sunday. Look at the profound expression of humility and Adoration that has taken over the deacon's whole being. This is what drives my love for photography.
