***Got Perspective?***
This is one of the gems of the Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference. The "perspective" and "pay it forward" concepts were David's idea. We presented the idea and basic framework to the pre-production team in November and the kids on the team brainstormed the details that would make it their own. The next day, we filmed it and then we took it home and David did the editing and final production. Then, we kept it secret until this past Saturday when it made its debut at DCYC. I hope you enjoy the story and the message behind it.
BTW: Yes, David is one of the characters too.

*** God's Limitless Mercy***
This was the start of the drama we have been preparing since December. It was so powerful, all of the youth animators left the stage in tears after performing it live tonight...and many of the 1,800 people in the seats were crying too.

***Limitless!***
I can finally start sharing the "commercials" we made for DCYC. This one played last night. It goes with the conference theme, "limitless".

Day 1 of DCYC...Awesome beyond our wildest imaginations! The doors opened at 7:00 PM and the grace was poured out over 1,800 teens. This is Jeremy, (the lead singer and guitarist for the band) and the youth animators we have been working with since the beginning of December. Oh, they are making me so proud :)

***The big day has arrived! This is what the convention center looked like yesterday morning before we hoisted the stage lights, signs and banners for DCYC. We have been preparing this youth conference for the past year. I will be unable to comment on your pictures for the next few days since I and part of the stage crew. But I will try to post video and picture images when I can. Monday, I will be back and excited to see at all the images I've been missing here this week. Please pray for the 1,600+ teens who will be participating in the conference, that God reaches them right where they are in their lives!

***When will our hearts change?***
I posted this on my Facebook a couple of days ago and it looked fine there. But in full size, there were lines from the processing. So I reprocessed it and achieved the same effect using a different method. This is the result.

*** God Bless America***
No special processing on this one and nothing spectacular about the photograph. I didn't even crop it. I was just moved to see this young man pause and pray in silence before he began to play God Bless America. This is why I love my camera. From time to time, it lets me see inside another person's soul for just a split second.
