Tricolored Heron and immature White Ibis

I believe this is a young Tricolored Heron. The Yellow beak with the black tip ad the yellow/green legs indicate non-mating season. But I would love some confirmation on it. :)

Yep! Another Mockingbird. I got pretty close to this one. He didn't seem to be bothered too much by my presence.

1st sign of drought...at least on this tree.

Western Mockingbird. There seems to be a theme with these birds and waiting at people's front doors.

Western Mockingbird. I believe this is a male because of its dark wings. But I am not sure.

Western Mockingbird. This might be the guy that sings outside our bedroom window at 2AM. Male Mockingbirds are known for being very annoying at night. They sing in attempt to attract a mate. Most birds have a song that has a pattern, a rhythm. Not this guy. He makes his romantic music by putting together the sounds he has heard other birds make. So he changes up every 5 seconds. And he sings through the whole night! But I love him anyway. He does exactly what God made him to do.
