When visiting Espada Mission in San Antonio, we encountered this dog. She was very friendly, but obviously starving to death. The park ranger explained to us that Espada is often used as a dumping place for unwanted dogs.

Top: Original Bottom: Edited in CS5 PS Extended It was a dark and rainy day. What sunlight there was glared off the water causing a back-light effect with the duck. The corrections lost the stormy tone. So warmth was added to enhance the stormy feel. I think the biggest accomplishment in the editing was the recovery of detail in the overexposed water.
