***Thank you all so much for the overwhelming support on my glamor test shot yesterday! Celine was tickled pink with all of the positive comments about both her appearance and her sensibility. And I'm feeling pretty confident in the adventure ahead of me now :)

I'm calling this beach shot "Teamwork" for two reasons. First, these two young ladies were working so well together collecting the prettiest shells on the beach. Second, the shot is a collaborative effort between David and me. He took the shot and I processed it. This shot brings back a flood of summer memories for me. My cousin (who grew to be more like a sister than a cousin) and I used to collect shells on the shore of our grandparents' lake every summer. I wonder if these two young ladies will be so fond of such memories some day.

***Thank you everybody for the comments on Tricia's graduation portrait and all of the congratulations to her for her accomplishment. She is most certainly feeling the love from all of you!

We are thinking about branching into glamor photography. This is a test shot I did with Celine this afternoon. There is a color version of this shot too in her portrait gallery http://www.sundayschildsnapshots.com/Portraits/Celine/8198831_PPMz2. But I think I'm most partial to the warm B&W because of the subtle red tones.

I think I'm going to have to hide this kiddo in a closet pretty soon. When she saw this shot, she started singing "I'm too sexy for my shirt..." and I cut her off and said "No. You're too sexy for your age!" She's only 12. I'm so glad she was joking. She's actually very much an independent young lady who has no need of attention from boys. In fact, if she ever finds herself having to protect herself, she can. She's a black belt. She doesn't follow any crowd and knows exactly what she wants to do with her life. She has wanted to be an archeologist since she was 8. Hmmmm....maybe I won't have to lock her in a closet after all.
