11/28/2009 Celine this afternoon. She is such a good sport. I dressed her up like a doll and dragged her to San Marcos for portraits. With an aperture of 7.1, the background was mostly in focus. So I blurred it with Glaussian blur. Also, Celine has deep brown eyes. You really can't see her pupils in person. But this sometimes makes her eyes look flat in pictures. So I burned the pupils in and dodged some lines in the irises and catch light at the edge of the pupils.
11/27/2009 Not much happening today, just a lot china to put away and a car to take to the garage. I forgot I had taken a picture of the table before we sat down to eat yesterday. It was a pretty quiet holiday, just 8 of us at the table this year. There was another table of food not shown in the picture here. It was kind of a buffet style dinner. Happy Thanksgiving weekend to everybody.
11/26/2009 Guess what we had for dinner....nah, not really. But it was an interesting kick off for Thanksgiving day. David said the poor guy ran up to the side of the road, waited till the car was close enough, then jumped in front of it. Does this qualify as assisted suicide? David and the kids were on the way to Mass when this happened. So they didn't stay around long. I had stayed home with a head ache. So the picture of the deer was taken about an hour and a half after the accident...just long enough for a vulture or two to have found something to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! You are a bushel of peaches!
