04/17/2010 ***This is one of the loves of my life, my grandson, Jimmy. He is two years old today. I took this picture the last time I saw him in December. He lives in Georgia, so we don't get to see him very often. In a few short weeks, he will become a big brother at the birth of his baby brother, Luke. Well, at least that is the plan...another boy. Jimmy was a girl until the day he was born. His name was Abigail right up until about two hours before he was born. He had lots of pink stuff too. So when we learned that a little boy was about to come out, I nicked named him "Abiguy". Jimmy's name is really special. He is named after his grandfather who passed away eleven years ago. I will be writing about him in a few days. Happy birthday, Jimmy. Grandma really misses you.

04/16/2010 *** God smiles on Texas. I've never loved any piece of land quite like I love this place. It has a rugged character all its own. Even the farm animals know that they are Texans.
