***Seriously, it's not lame. It's just obedience. I spent the entire day in the presence of a man who will likely be canonized a saint some day...and I haven't a single picture to show for it. Instead, I have the grace that is awarded to an obedient heart. :) I was told that Father Corapi does not allow photography during his talks. So I actually...gulp...left all of our cameras at home. It was an absolutely amazing day. Lately, I have been very worried for my children who are growing up in a world that seems to drown them in the culture of death rather than the culture of life. Today, there was a lot of talk of that...and I was reminded of what a bishop told St. Monica when she worried about her son. He told her that no child of so many tears could ever be lost. The son that she cried for eventually did turn his life around. He became a Priest and a bishop and eventually St. Augustine. Comforting, huh? So I will continue to cry for my children and pray for them and I will trust in the centuries old wisdom that tells me that they can never be lost.
Meanwhile, I will share this image of a vineyard in Driftwood. After all, the conference ended with a beautiful Mass. And what happens to the "blood of grapes" at Mass? I took this picture Friday. Sorry I can't share a picture of Father Corapi with you. But I'm not sorry I obeyed.

***Monarch or Queen?***
I'm reasonably certain this is a queen butterfly. When he opened his wings, the black lines were faint, unlike the prominent black lines of the monarch. It looks like he has a sinister smile on his face because he fools a lot of animals into thinking he is a poisonous monarch.

***Jade***
Got a new flash and played around on the front porch with it.
